The program ark allows you to gather multiple files or even multiples directories into a single archive. Ark is traditionally used for backing up data or preparing data for transfer via email or some other file transfer method. Ark supports a large number of file formats. Of the answers below, select only the formats supported by ark. Choose four.

    1. .bz3
    2. .tar
    3. .tar.Z
    4. .zoo
    5. .zoom
    6. .a
    7. .b

    Answer later.

I see AJ and Nugget (and perhaps Pheonix) have gotten lazy or perhaps they just didn't see this question. In any event, time's up. Answer time. Correct answers are: 2, 3, 4, and 6.

Ark supports quite a number of file formats including some you are probably pretty unfamiliar with. The answers for 1, 5, and 7 are bogus.
