Does anyone know if the file/folder cut/copy & paste CD burning in Windows XP "My Computer" failing to work is a consequence of the Windows XP Operating System not being activated?

    I doubt it.

You should go into Windows explorer, right click on the CDRW drive > then Properties and then Recording tab. Make sure *enable CD recording* is ticked.

Aren't you supposed to have full functionality until your grace period runs out, and then you can't do nowt? I think it's not working for a different reason.
