    Hello

I'm currently studying the 70-290 MS press book, and the exercise i'm stuck on is exercise 1: creating a partition using the disk management snap-in in chapter 11. The problem is that when it tells me to right-click the unallocated disk space on disk0 and choose New Partition, I don't see "New Partition" anywhwere. Has anybody had the same problem?

    thanks

Do you have some unallocated space to use? The disk should have a black bar at the top and say unallocated I believe.

Just installed 2003 server to look at this

I have added a second disk to the VM, so ignore that, but as you can see, I have already partitioned half of it and if I right click on the unallocated space, the new partition option is there

I know what I did wrong, I forgot to save 1 gb of space when I was partioning during 2003 setup at the beginning of the book. So all I did was just add another drive.

    Thanks for your help guys!:D
