    Dear All,

I have got a problem with TFTPd32 server. I have installed TFTPd32 on my laptop which is running on VISTA OS. My laptop is connected with my router on Fastethernet port. I can ping from both side. But while i was trying to copy my router's flash to my laptop or any other things, there i have got the following message

    % Error opening tftp://....(my pc's add).../...my router's IOS name... .bin (Timed out)

Please help me out. Its urgent. Thank you.

Sound's like the tftp server doesn't have permission to access the file, or it cannot find the file.

Double check the URL of where the .bin is saved and the the URL you enter into the tftp server.

Stoney's probably right - check the location that you are trying to download to - also look and see whether there are any firewalls in between you and the router, or whether the Windows Firewall or another software-based firewall is blocking the transfer
