But, i've always believed the only way to find out is to ask :)

How does the scoring work on Comptia N+ exam? In other words I see scores of 700, 800 etc what exactly is this? Marks out of 1000? and what percentage deems a pass (or what mark).

Sorry if its a dumb question but I'm almost finished with my self study and just about to book the exam.

    Cheers

But it was asked. In his mind.:biggrin The dumb part would have been if he hadn't of ask out loud so his question could have been answered. Just my 2 cents worth, and not even sure its worth that.:blink

    wagnerk,

Just so you know, the link associated with your line "Found this on another form (don't shoot me), see here." leads to a webpage that states:

    Hi Steve.L,

Maybe its about time somebody answered your question.

Network+ is scored out of 900. Minimum passng score is 554 or 62%.

Basically each question answered has a weighted scoring. So there are 85 questions in the exam and each question, depending on difficulty will be have a different weight or importance.

    Easy questions will generall be weighted bteween 1 - 3, medium difficulty, between 3 - 10, hard questions 10 - 20.

THAT WHAT ADAPTIVE TESTING IS ABOUT.

Last word, make sure you know your stuff before sitting the exam.
