Preparing for 70-680

Today I ordered my book for the 70-680. Should be in within the next few days. Any tips from you guys about this certification? Is it similar in difficult to the 70-270 (Win XP)?

Which book have you ordered?

As long as you study and lab this exam should be passable. I used the MSPRess book and MeasureUps, also ensure you use the prerequisites as a guide to ensure you study all the sections and then TechNet to fill in any blanks

Exam 70-680: Windows 7, Configuring

 

I guess it depends on how well you know Windows 7. For me, it was light years away from the XP exams in both difficulty and scope. I didn't enjoy (the supposedly corrected version) of the MS Press study book, which I found to be very poor, riddled with mistakes, incomplete commands and instructions.

I learned a whole lot, but most of it was by Professor Messer's videos, googling topics/commands, searching Technet and scratching my head for hours when things didn't work.

 

I ordered the ms press release.i have heard of prof messers videos but never looked into them. Will give them a shot this afternoon.

 

Just watched a few prof messer videos from youtube and I am amazed at the effort he has put into his videos for no charge at all. I think i will be watching his videos instead of CBT Nuggets from now on. Thank you for the reference.

 

I saw them recommended by loads of people on here and they didn't disappoint
