Is anyone else playing the Sun Dream Team?

If so, any good? (mine aren't doing that great!)

Nope. Did the official Premiership one last season, done alright. Went to do it again this year but fluffed my selection up and couldn't be bothered to sort it out.

I wish there was one for La Liga.

Straying slightly OT, if I was to put together a WORLD dream team right now it would probably look like this (expect many edits as I tweak my team!):

    GK: Victor Valdes

    D: Carles Puyol
    D: Nemanja Vidić
    D: Rafael Marquez
    D: Daniel Alves

    M: Cesc Fabregas
    M: Xavi
    M: Marcos Senna
    M: Kaka

    F: Lionel Messi
    F: Samuel Eto'o
    F: Sergio Leonel "Kun" Agüero

    S1: Karim Benzema
    S2: Fernando Torres
    S3: Cristiano Ronaldo
    S4: Andreas Iniesta
    S5: Iker Casillas

WHAT ABOUT YOU? What would your current World XI be?

I've got a team eneterd in this with some of the other guys from INX Gaming. We've got 12 teams playing in our own mini league and I'm sitting mid table atm :biggrin

World XI? I unfortunately don't watch enough league football for other countries to decide. I do watch some Bundesliga games occasionally, but Martin sometimes has to get the remote... otherwise it'd be football all day, between Sky and Sultana Sports :biggrin

My best current team on the Sun Dream Team has the following lineup:

    GK: C. Kirkland

    DEF: J. Terry
    DEF: A. Meite
    DEF: P. Evra
    DEF: R. Dunne

    MID: S. Wright-Phillips
    MID: A. Young
    MID: L. Valencia
    MID: Elano

    ST: Adebayor
    ST: J Defoe

I sit mid table with that one too. Just finished watching the Spurs vs Liverpool - cracking match!

Arsenal play their Toddler XI and absolutely spank Wigan.

Chelsea play an XI that would quite frankly be daunting to most Premiership teams, and get whomped.

Title challenge? What title challenge... :tune

I've got a couple of teams in Dreamteam this year, in a league of friends and currently sit second..!

    GK P Cech

    DEF J O'Shea
    DEF G McCartney
    DEF J Terry
    DEF R Ferdinand

    MID Elano
    MID T Cahill
    MID G Barry

    STR M King
    STR D Bent
    STR F Torres

547 points so far, not going great, but not too shabby either!

Im Spurs through and through, so as you can imagine im pretty happy with things at the moment, Magic Harry has had 6 games, 5 wins 1 draw. Considering we've played Liverpool twise, Arsenal and Man City away... thats an amazing run! :D

My team won't be playing anyone Mof - I'm one of those godawful neutrals you hear about :)

In all seriousness, it's great to see games like last night's - Arsenal's young gunners showing what the future can hold, including some very promising (thankfully) home grown talent.

And as for Arsenal getting beaten by Stoke - let's just say it's going to be refreshingly different to watch a season where the three Championship sides up from last season may not got down at all.

    I *heart* football.

you must lean towards one team even if you dont know it, Pick a lower league team to adopt, Ive adopted Lincoln FC dont know why just did.
Arsenal young gunns always look good but then they grow up with the exception of a couple of them.

Whenever I play Champo I tend to be Nuneaton Borough :)

However, if I had to support any team, it would be Stourport Swifts. I briefly trained with them pre-season this year, and had a first team place, were it not for the heinous commute involved in getting to training and matches.

There's some interesting views here about who'll stay up and who'll drop but I was disappointed to see they weren't rating West Ham's chances very high

I tend to agree West Ham will fall, I love zola to bits but he to nice to be a manager. Stoke and maybe Fulham, will tumble down a division to.

As a west ham fan, I'd be very disappointed if they dropped down again. But after the last few games, I'm getting myself emotionally prepared for it :(
