Hey Guys i have a Poweredge 4600 server (with disks) which has been sitting in my shed for 4 months now gathering dust! would anybody be interested in this? not looking for much (maybe £30 or swap for a couple of books or a sh**y desktop etc. I feel this could be made use of by someone as i am not using it! This item is in Woking, Surrey and is too large (actually heavy to post\courier). If i rememer correctly #9without nipping outside) there is a Win2K licence key on this machine also.

Actually just to pipe in, I recently sent a fully loaded HP 4300WS machine via Parcel Force, postage on that was only £25, I seem to recall it weighed in at a good 5 - 7kg but I could be wrong. Anyway what I am saying is that Postage is an option if someone is willing to pay for it and it's not soo expensive.

Still dont know if postage is an option this machine as it is rather large and looks similar to this inluding the 4 PSU's for redundancy and 8 HDD's. As for specs im not really sure, all I know this machine is completely standard and fully working.

Just fire the service tag into the Dell website and it will give you spec the server shipped with.

Hmmm looks interesting, to go with the 18 HP Proliant servers I already have in my garage (and no, I am not kidding, I really do have 18 DL360\380\570 servers), pretty sure my wife would have kittens.

No thanks mate, I really don't need it (the amount of hardware I have has run a small investment bank before, quite literally). Thanks for the offer tho.

Hmm i could be interested, can you post complete specs on this? Needs to replace an aging Compaq Proliant dl360 server running 36Gb hdd and 512mb memory. If yours is better, we could do a deal.
