I can't see a definitive answer on this site anywhere here.

What is the procedure for receving certificates?

The Comptia website is unbelievably vague and wishy washy, I trawled it for ages and found nothing.

Do I wait for Comptia to contact me? My Candidate History on Comptia site confirms status for both exams as "passed".

What next?

you have to wait. Can take upto 8 weeks before you get it delivered.

If you have registered and can see that you have passed on your candidate page you should have a link to download the official A+ jpeg that you can put on CVs or whatever.

Just move onto your next cert now.

 

If you have not received an email from CompTia you may verify the email you gave them. I got my emails in about a week with the instructions and then had to go and verify my profile ( address etc. ) before they would mail the Cerificate. Try to go here https://www.certmetrics.com/comptia.

I emailed Comptia Custeomer Service, they merged the 2 accounts I managed to create (!) and I was able to access my learning ID and pdf copy of cert and logos
