    :D Hello.
Found these excellent forums while researching training centers in the U.K. Really is a good resource you made here.
I have registered because I'd really like a little advice (like so may others!).

In 2000(dec) I got the MCP and since then have been building and fixing computers and installing all types of O/S's part time as a mobile E-handyman.

I regret stopping the study very much but you know how life can be. Now I'm really keen to start again.

From what I can gather over the last afternoon a very thorough route I might take now would be

    A+ N+ MCDST

While looking for a first low level tech job or even doing some free days for schools for example for experience. Then later

    MCSA/MCSE.

So to cut to the chase have I over cooked it? Having a MCP (which may be outdated now?) could I miss any of these exams out?
Is there still a skills shortage in the U.K. as the training company like to suggest? (man I hate those guys :dry )

Any way, my name is Andrew, and I thank you in advance for taking the time to suggest anything. If you like :spam just say hello!
    Bye.

    Hi and welcome to CF!

The route you map out looks perfectly good to me.

As far as I know MCPs don't expire as such - but Microsoft may have retired the one you have. There is usualy a route for updateing it though.

    Harry.
