Compiled a playlist yesterday which I haven't stopped listening to since, so was just wondering what everyone else is listening to, here's mine then:

humm...my playlist for the past few weeks has been all the albums of Nightwish.

 

Who's they? Sounds like a goth band, am I right???

 

Nightwish are ace (just thought I'd say that)

 

well i guess you could call them symphonic power metal with opera-style singing.
i wouldn't call them goth ;)

 

Sounds great, I'll have to have a look ( or listen lol) at them

 

My play list usually includes what ever they're playing on the radio!

I'm just not that into music!

 

I've been listening to Enigma for the last couple of weeks as I find it calms me down when I've had a crap week at work.

 

I just turn on my Sirius.

 

Oh well, if you like comedy though I'd definately recommend Wierd Al or Bill Baileys "tributes", these guys crack me up

I've never actually seen the video for that one, saw the Fat video though. The guys a genius, I mean who would think of covering Bohemian Rhapsody with an accordian

 

Been listening a lot lately to Jack Johnson, he of the Hawaiian surfing champion fame. He has a nice acoustic jazzy laid back style. I am trying to learn a couple of his songs but his phrasing is difficult to emulate as it's almost rap rhythmic at times.

Weird Al is a tad too weird for me I prefer Woody Allen

 

well, i suppose it depends on my mood, this morning ive got genesis/phil collins, with some beatles, mamas n papas, kinks, the doors etc to put me in a good mood for work.

if i have a crap day at work then it's linkin park or a bit of hardcore rave!

i have a very mixed taste!

 

My current playlist is a selection of tracks from every Rush studio album. Am also looking forward to seeing the new DVD which should be out today, a recording of a show on last year's 30th Anniversary Tour.

 

blimey...is it me or does everyone here like Rock/Goth/Punk type songs? maybe I am the minority...I like my Dance, RnB, Pop tunes...my phones playlists is a mixture of these at the moment including Justin Timberlake, Ashanti, Dancing DJs, Lovefreekz and Soul Central...

 

Used to have a ritual of putting Du Hast on just as we were going out on the raz, that song seriously ROCKS!!

 

Quite partial to a bit of Scissor Sisters on the pop side atm, also Gorillaz would come under dance wouldn't it? In fact half my playlist is pop/dance
