Are these storms anywhere near you?

Hope you're ok if they are.

I don't think so Si. The storms are much further south, around Newcastle and Sydney. Bluerinse is about 400??(I think) kilometers north in Surfers Paradise.

Which reminds me, I need to ring my sister in Sydney. Last night I saw 5 seconds of news about the worst flooding they've ever had but I didn't see where it was.

I thought as much, but wasn't sure, many news reports I've seen have just said the West Coast of Oz!

I think you'd better find a better news channel. Newcastle, Sydney and Surfers are as far removed from the West Coast as you can get.

I wish we did have storms or at least some decent rain....

We have only had 30% of our rain year to date. This is for the sixth year running...

Yep things are dry over here in WA!

The state government is speading billions building two desalination plants to address the water issue....
