I wonder what sort of set-ups forum members have in terms of entertainment for example the living room.

(tv's, projectors, consoles, cable, pcs, media centers, appletv etc )

I dont watch much tv, but i plan to setup some sort central media server, have quite got it planed out yet.

Having a little trouble getting itunes to fit in with everything else.

I want a ms media server, however, want use itunes on a mac to sync with it and also a my ipod.

I have a mix of apple, windows, linux, xbox 360 etc

Need to play music and video in living room, HD and games
Access stuff from pc's in office
Ipod on the road
could be handy to stream when away over net

I have 32 inch samsung, samsung 5.1 surround sound, xbox 360 and sky HD.

I have my xbox connect to my network to use media centre with xbox.

 

Cool that's the sort of setup i would like, with a few extras.

 

I'm prob gonna get WHS (mainly coz they look cool) and store and stream all my media from that. I set one up for a friend and there was a couple of issues with itunes at first, but it was not to hard to sort out in the end.

 

You have to strip DRM

because nothing else will play apple DRM'ed files. I found several plugins i am looking at.
