    Hi there

I am planning to take 70-270 exam soon, i still haven't booked the test. Can anyone please advise if there are any passing marks/percentage for the MS exams ?

Secondly what is the retake policy if unfortunately you fail in first attempt ?

Third, I've heard about prometric vouchers, is it a good way to save some money on exam or there are any hidden drawbacks using vouchers ? And which is the best website to buy vouchers from for UK ?

Many thanks for reading and answering my questions.

You need to get over 700 point to pass the exam.

If you register here you can get a resit for free if you need it. 8)

Not sure mate, I’ve only ever used the second shot vouchers. The exam costs £88 so it’s not too bad in comparison to the CompTIA ones.

The exam is scored *approximately* out of 1000 points.

Microsoft don't actually publish what the exams are out of but its approximately 1000 points.

You should be able to use both vouchers, they fall into 2 separate categories:
    1. Exam voucher - this is what you pay your exam for.
    2. Promo Voucher - this is for stuff like free 2nd shot.

If you can't see where to put the promo code in, ring up Prometric before you book the exam.

    Okay, great...

    ...so what's the minimum? 8)

Don't rely on the thinking that 700 is approximately equal to 70%... because it might be, and it might not be. Simply study the concepts until you understand them completely, and if you truly understand them completely, then you'll likely pass.
