Passes 70-271

    Well, I surprised myself yesterday. I passed 70-271 with 983/1000 :O

    3 weeks of solid studying after work seems to have paid off. I'm nursing the mother of all hangovers and contemplating 70-272. Back to the grindstone... :)

    Thanks guys :D

    I used the Microsoft Press MCDST 70-271 book first. Read it from cover to cover and then followed all the recommended reading in the back of the book. Then it was Technet and Googled articles all the way. Don't just use one book. The MS press book was great but it didn't cover everything.

    Yeah, that's often the case. It's sometimes worth getting more than one book if you can afford it.

    I've picked up a Sybex book (MCDST Study guide) and an MS press book for 70-272. So far this Sybex book seems pretty good, and it covers both 70-271 and 70-272.

    I've got the MS Press book and sybex and exam cram 2 (which is great as its small and light, and easily read on the tube 90 minutes each day!)
