Hiya guys, just thought I'd say I passed the 601...got a score of 760, not great but least I passd, thinkin 602 now....

Wasn't a technical as I thought, lots of questions on 'what if scenarios', nothing on IRQ. DMA, processors, or I/O's...Lots of common sense questions and a few on laptops from what I can remember!!

My general opinion was it was no where near as hard as I expected!!

I didn't get a great score on the 601 either, the 602 was much easier as it had technical questions and not what if questions.

 

Cheers lads, thats what i was expecting techy questions, but role on the 602, any ideas best place to find prices etc, as Im gonna self study for this one, want to book it asap...

What makes the 601 harder for most people?

I don't understand why people arent finding 602 more difficult.

did you use any practice test such as testking or pass4sure before taking the real test.

Ummm... I hope not... because that would be cheating. Using braindumps like those can get you decertified for life.

 

yeah, if you want a practice test thats legit and will really help, use something like transcender

 

Hiya guys an gals.............I didnt pay for any practise exams if thats what you mean, I had MM all in 1, had a old 2003 cram book, which was just full of practise questions, but for the old exam.

I had a CD from the tutor which had a lot of practise exams for the 601, had a few cram sheets from here and Proprofs.com.....also used their practise exams, but again for the old exam.

To be honest I think as long as you have common sense and at least some knowledge of working with PC's/Networks you should be fine!!
