Number of Questions: 48, on my exam anyway

I found this exam (well with my set of questions anyway) to be easier than the 70-649 exam. There were a couple of questions I really did not know the answer to, even though I was able to disregard 2 answers and then just really did eeny-meeny-miney-mo, however like I said it was just a couple. A couple of questions you could have answered if you were a MCSE on 2k3 (literally only a couple), they were the easiest of questions

The rest were ok if you used the above material (and actually use Windows 2008 at work, as well as have a virtual environment at home). However one tip for anyone attempting this exam... Read the question more than once. There have been quite a few questions were I had to double & triple check the answers as the questions could imply a couple of the answers (when you could only pick one).

From a MS certificate point of view, I have:

MCP
MCDST
MCSA
MCSA: M
MCSE
MCTS
MCITP: EST
MCITP: EA
MCAS

I'm not a MCITP: SA, unlike the MCSA where it's a subset of the MCSE. The MCITP: SA, while it has some exams in common, is not a subset of the MCITP: EA, I would have to do the MCITP: SA Pro exam (70-646) and more studying

The MCITP: EA and the MCITP: SA certs are actually geared up for different job roles:

MCITP: EA - The enterprise administrator translates business goals into technology decisions and designs mid-range to long-term strategies. Enterprise administrators also make key decisions and recommendations.

MCITP: SA - A server administrator is responsible for the operations and day-to-day management of an infrastructure of servers for an enterprise organization. Windows server administrators manage the infrastructure, Web, and IT application servers.

And while for ease we (& I'm guilty for that also) compare the MCITP: SA to the MCSA and the MCITP: EA to the MCSE, in reality it's not...
