passed OS today, did core 2 weeks ago.

Do i have to do anything or do comptia send out stuff ow what happens?? I have no idea

Dont think so... the exam provider (prometric or vue) will forward your address to them so that they can send you your A+ Certificate.... i think....

 

for core i got 609 for OS i got 699.

I found them ok, i though i had buggered up the OS exam, jaw hit the floor when I saw i had passed.

how long do people spend doing the exam? I was out of both exams within 20 minutes, the secretary seemed amazed that I finished so quick.

well the comptia website doesn't work for me, so i will hope they are sorting everything out.

 

The testing site should have given you a result sheet.

They then contact CompTIA and you get your cert package in about 4 weeks.

I just passed my core on monday, just tried logging onto www.comptia.com/careerID and you can see all kinds of info about ur certs there.

Got any tips for the OS? Mines in 13 days

Oh and i was there for ages, think i left with 25 mins to go (for the core), but i like to be sure & check things over, went through all 100 questions twice!

 

Don't panic, there was a lot of stuff about upgrading from 9x to XP in mine, although I am sure the tests are random.

If I go over the questions I start wondering whether I was right originally, so if I don't check through. My initial answer was probably correct.

 

I reckon i probably lost about 20 points changing my answers
