Well, passed the O/S exam today. Scored 722.

I guess that means I'm A+ certified now

Will CompTIA just send out the cert in due course? Anyone know how long that takes?

Did ok on the exam, scored 722.

Questions were pretty much what I had been expecting, and I faltered in the same places I've been struggling all along (mainly identifying which boot files can be edited and what one does what).

Don't know why that threw me, but I just had some kind of mental block on that part of the syllabus.

All worked out ok in the end.

Yes...CompTIA will be notified of your pass and your actual certification will be processed and mailed out to you. It will take weeks, so try and be patient. In the meantime, you have the computer printout to verify that you are indeed an A+ certified technician.
