Passed 272 exam last night to get my mcdst. Doing this as part of a BSc in I.T. and have 2 exams left which i am studying at uni over summer (CIW web server administrator & CIW ecommerce designer).

After this i'm not sure what route to take. One one hand, I could upgrade my mcdst to mcitp and on the other hand I could start prep for A+, N+, 720 etc for mcsa.
Both of these would be beneficial as we're looking to roll out vista in the next year or so and also because I administrate and maintain the servers.

    What would you do?

I'd go for A+ and N+ to cover the ground, so to speak.

Nothing like having a good collection of foundation certs.

    And congrats on the MCDST!

I agree, while the MCDST is a great cert to have, it doesn't cover all the basic's (eg the MCDST is vendor specific, no hardware or major network, etc).

Congrats on the pass, btw :)
