It's been a while since my last visit to the site so good to see that it is still going strong. Still the best of its type in my opinion.

Anyway took 70-620 (Configuring Vista Client) a couple of days ago and passed. This was my 2nd attempt at this exam. First attempt narrowly missed with a score of 651. This time round got 745.

Preparation for this exam was by using the MS Training Kit and just practising with the OS. I installed it on two separate virtual PCs so that I could practice networking with it.

My advice for others preparing for this exam is to be clued up on wireless networking configuration as I got several questions relating to this. Dual-booting and mobile devices also cam up.

As of now the exam consists of 56 Questions and two hours duration so good luck to you all!

 

Good question. Not much to do on the Microsoft front at the moment until the 2k8 exams become available so keep promising myself I'll give the CCNA exams a look in the interim.

I work in a school where we have a Cisco Training Academy and two colleagues are Cisco instructors so no excuses I guess!

Just wanted to get the Vista exam out of the way.
