My final MS exam (for the time being ) and am so glad to have this one conquered!

The exam consisted of 6 case studies / teslets each with 4 - 6 questions lasting from 20 - 30 mins. I found the exam relatively easy, compared to 70-284 anywayz.

The exam covered the whole range of deign topics, co-existance, migration, upgrades and fresh implementations. Also the usual backup and restore through to OWA and GC placements. Also admin and routing group topology design. I had 4 drag and drop questions and the rest were multiple choice.

Gonna take a few weeks off now and then get stuck in to ITIL as I'm seeing a lot of UK companies requiring it.

To anser McMuffins question, I failed 71-236, which I was expecting. Haven't got my score report back but I logged on to my Prometric Candidate history which confirmed it.

I was expecting to fail though as the exam was almost entirely questions on the Management Shell and I've had very little practice with cmdlets. When I did the free MS e-learning clinics there was a lot on cmdlets so I should have expected the exam to be more geared towards that Oh well. Will def be going for it when the training kit is published.

Yeah I failed too, I got 618 which I was fairly pleased about.

I didn't really do any study on cmdlets or powershell syntax.

I will retake soon, although not till after the 27th as I'm booked in for 71-237
