    933. Happy with that, keeps up my 90%+ average so far.

I'm starting a new (voluntary) job next week supporting mainly Linux workstations so the 272 might have to go on hold while I climb the steep learning curve of Linux.

    congratulations

That is a average right? because you arnt given the information to workout a true passing score as an average due to the questions been weighted, different number of questions, different totals/passmark (I have heard of people fail on just over 700)

I didn't realise there was different totals, I thought there were 1000 marks up for grabs, end of.

    Congrats!

Negative. All of Microsoft's passing scores are set, artificially or otherwise, to exactly 700 points. Whether the scale is from 0-1000 is what is debatable.

I've heard rumors of scores over 1000, particularly when Microsoft reset all passing scores to 700 (they didn't used to always be that way). But I have yet to experience it or see it for myself.

In any case, you still can't say that you answered X% correctly because of question weighting and unscored items. A true percentage score is simply not possible to calculate.

I wasn't claiming to have answered x% correctly, I was claiming to have achieved x% of the marks available, but it seems I can't claim that either. Pity, I like having my own little targets to reach over and above just passing.

Yep. And even if you know that 1000 is the top score... what's the bottom score? With CompTIA, it's 100. With Cisco, it's 300.
