does anyone here use a combination of LCDs/TFTs and CRTs?

I've been using LCD montitors pretty indescriminently for over a year now, always at 1600x1200, i had them at work, and at home, now before this i used a 19" Iiyama .25 pitch Diamondtron (same as Trinitron) monitor and it was great

I had to send my LCD in for repair today, will be back in 5 - 7, so I plugged my 19" into my desktop (usually just running through my kaveman KVM for the rest of servers and such

all i can say is OW! even upping the refresh to 85Hz my eyes are already sore after 5 mins :/

I know that feeling, I switched to an 17"LCD about 3 months ago from a 19" CRT and what a difference it has made on my eyes oh and my relationship . I can now spend hours more at the PC without those burning eye sensations. Although the pain in my neck is starting to hurt a little more now

I used to egt bad headaches when I used a crt montior only.I still have the monitor for my desktop, but I only use it minimally.

Once I started using my tft laptop screen I've never had a headache while using it, no matter how long I'm on it for.

Just recently at work I've been put on a section where I have to use a computer most of the day.It's a crt screen and already my headaches are coming back
