Im in the process of developing a website for linux.

One aspect of the website is to properly "review" the different distributions in a methodical manner for both newbies and experts alike. As quite frankly, im sick and tired of just reading a review that consists of a few paragraphs and a couple of screens. Which quite frankly is a waste of my 5 minutes reading it and shows that was put together in 5 minutes and tells you nothing of the distro!

    /rant

I've got a lab, but they are still considered high end machines.

Does anyone have some slim/smallish form factor desktops of the P2/P3 variety and in London? (that you are willing to part with gratis)

I would be very much grateful :)

I'm lost, what is the other puter for? Could you not just pick up another harddrive and put linux on that? Or even an external one?

The old computers are to put linux on. As alot of reviews are based on P4 3.4Ghz or Core 2 Duo's and not everyone who wants to run linux has one of these.

So by getting oldish compters (P2/P3), I can run the newest set of distro's and can say with confidence how they run, etc.

Even running linux in Virtual Machines, isnt good enough for reviews either!

I may have some Dell GX240's if they havn't been skipped at a depot in London.
I think they Win2K COA stickers as well but have no hard drives (security issue).

I not in the office till next Monday week but I check then if you want.
