Does anyone have a list of compatible IOS images for my C2611xm router?
    My Bootstrap is 12.2 (7r)
I managed to corrupt my flash, however, tru rommon I was able to restore the router....
Will the T version work on my router?

Cisco does. Unfortunately, it's against their copyright for me to distribute their images. A SMARTnet contract will fix you right up.

    Thanx BosonMichael,
I looked at their site, but can't find the info, besides a general procedure for updating IOS's and the info that 2611xm is EOL.
I know you can't distribute images, so I just asked for a list to check compatibility.
I will try Cisco's site one more time, maybe I missed something.

    Thank you keconnect sparky!
That is exactly the information I was looking for.

Also looked for the SMARTnet option. No prices advertised, I guess if you have to ask for the price, you can't afford it. :D

Restoring the router from rommon and a tftp server was a really good exercise. Made me appreciate the configuration register settings. tftpdnld is a wonderfull command.

    Thank you Zimbo.

I changed my IOS and appears that the router is faster and has more commands. On my previous image the do show command was not available; now it is. The old version also had issues with duplex mismatch and could only be resolves by setting both interfaces to half duplex.

This system works much better for me:

System returned to ROM by reload
    System image file is "tftp://192.168.1.17/c2600-i-mz.122-8.T5.bin"

Like Jeremy Cioara said: You dont start to appreciate the routers and switches until you have them at your disposal.
Learned a lot the last two days. Thanks

Sorry, sorry... my mistake. I thought you were asking for images. Guess that'll teach me to read more carefully!
