I am 52 years young and the week I am due to see the arrival, what happens? I go and fall over (no there was no alcohol involved) and break my collar bone. Now unable to drive or go to work, dosed up with painkillers and having to rely on my good lady to drive me around.

In all of my working life I've had the attitude that if I can get out of bed I can go to work and this is the first time I have been forced to take a leave of sickness absence. It's only been 3 days now and I have to say I'm already bored and Mrs AJ is saying I'm not a good patient. Can't use my PC as using the mouse hurts too much (just about manage to use my tablet to do this).

So nothing like using this time to be creative, I've got a couple of online courses I can do on my tablet, SCCM and Azure.

Oh no gutted @AJ. I hope you heal soon. I think the CBTs will be perfect to keep your brain ticking over while you recover. If you get a chance check AWS out too. It’s so awesome. I certainly wouldn’t worry about rushing back to work. You won’t be able to think straight anyway with the pain killers mate and if you’re doing IT training you’re still working on your career, albeit end user free
