Did you see that the number of car accident casualties is far greater than the number of war victum, the number of HIV victums and so? Compare the numbers and cry.

 

The number of abortions outstrips the number of HIV infections world wide as well as incidence of cancer, and just about every other disease, disorder or other piece of "bad news" on the site. Yeah...I'm crying alright.

While the incidence of car accidents is much larger than war deaths, remember that a lot more nations have cars on their roads than they do wars within their borders. This doesn't mean that war deaths aren't "bad".

 

I did not say that. It just struck me.

 

I know. My son is a Marine serving in Iraq and one of the stupid things the recruiters told him when he joined is that his chances of being killed in a car accident were much higher than his chances of being killed in combat. Talk about lying with statistics...No worries. I wasn't taking a shot at you.
