Hello people, some new meat here!!

I've been viewing the forum for a few days now and thought it was time I joined.

I'm from durham, after 6yrs in the military and over much thinking about which career route to choose, have decided to start a new career in I.T.

I've got a basic NVQ 2 in I.T. and am now in the process of getting my act together and starting to study for my A+ qualification,(Im also considering doing the MCDST at college in Jan) with a view to gaining employment at the basic level of IT Support. Everyones got to start somewhere, right!

Anyway I look forward to picking some brains

Welcome to CF and good choice of starting with the A+ cert first. Make sure you go the self study route and not pay out lots of money to a training centre. All you'd have to do is get the A+ book a computer and start studying and breaking PC's apart.

Lastly, if your stuck just logon to cert forums and fire away your questions. Best wishes
