    Hi all,

I dropped out of University a few years back. I was studying (BSc)Computer Science. Since then I've moved from job to job, nothing IT related. I wish to get back into IT. Are Comptia A+ and Network+ courses a good place to start? Do they carry much weight in the British IT industry?

I'd really like to hear from someone who started from scratch, without a degree and is now working in the IT.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Kind regards
    Bri

I am in a similiar situation at the moment.
I'm still trying to get this first job. I have recently passed CCENT exam and going to do Network+ within next month or so. Also trying to get some volunteer work in the area (IT related of course) to boost my CV and hands on skills.

Basically CCENT gave me much more confidence even if I still haven't found a job yet. But from what I've heard A+ and Network+ are a good start for sure.

    Good luck
