    hi everyone, this is my first post, i have started to do my ccna and finding it hard to study outside classes. any tips

    How are you studying for your CCNA? Are you doing the Cisco Network Academy? What materials are you using to learn with?

    If it is the Network Academy that you're doing then you're probably using the Cisco Press books. These books are good, but they are very dry reading.

    What I suggest that you do is get hold of another CCNA book that will help you, but not confuse you.

    When I did the Network Academy waht I used was the CCNA for dummies book to help me get an overview of the subject, and then the Cisco books for the more technical details.

    thank you everyone, well i am doing about 9 classes, in about 2 and half months, they provided us with books but i am finding it abit diffcult to strt and do some reading. I was wondering if there are any cheape kit i can buy that i can teach myself on. also is there a function on here when i reply or put a new thread on i get an email saying that it has been updated by someone else.
