I found that the practice exams on the Mike Meyers book CD were a fairly close approximation to the real exam.

I'm told, but have no personal experience, that the Transcender tests are good as well.

If you are well prepared then the exam isn't too bad!

This rather depends on whose practice tests!

Some tests are easier than the real ones, and some are harder.

In addition, many of the tests I tried have a different 'balance' from the real exam. Now remember, I have only taken the real exam once, so it may not be representative, but my impression is that the emphasis in the questions was far more modern than many of the practice ones.

80% on the tests you mentioned will more than likely put in the winning zone I'd say.Testout's questions are pretty good and cover as much legacy technology as they do modern systems.I found the CD in the Meyers book to be,well,on the easy side to be honest, but again the questions are well put and good quality.

I'm booking my core exam for the end of April and my OS at the end of May.While the premise is to pass,my goal is to hit the 800's in both, though I know thats a tough target.Plenty of good revision and confidence will see you through.

Good luck with the exam and tomorrow I'll be asking you the same question,"what was it like??!!".. 8)

Congrats on the pass. And a pass is a pass - you don't have to tell anybody what the score was and it won't appear on the cert!

Congrats mate, as Harry said, a pass is a pass. You have proved that you understand the concepts well enough to pass the exam.
