    Hello all,
My name is Ralph from Union City, CA. I am a new member to CF. Currently a full time student taking a 6 month A+ course at Stride Center in Oakland, and will take my certification test on December. After A+, my goal is to get Networking+, Security+, and CCNA certifications.
There's so much to learn. I look forward to learning from you all, and I hope to be able to contribute to the forum with the best of my abilities.
    Have a great day all

    Welcome to CertForums :)

Now I don't mind the CompTIA exams but please understand that exams like the CCNA are designed for experienced engineers, not full time students.

I'm doing alright with A+. Feeling pretty confident overall, but still a lot to learn.

    Hi Ed,

I have thought of doing volunteer work. I am currently looking to go to Oakland Tech Exchange. Other than that, I've been doing pro-bono computer troubleshooting and fixing.

I am aware of that! It's just a goal I plan on working up to in the future :)
