Hi I'm a new member looking for help just like the rest of you. I'm currently in the process of getting my degree in IT and am about to take the CIW associates test as part of a test to pass a class on Friday. Good to meet all of you and I hope to talk to you all much more on this site.

First - hijacking someone else's thread isn't the best way to get things done! :p

The most important thing to discover in answering your question is "What does the contract say?"

Unfortunately, that's why we recommend going with the self-study method. If you don't like self-study, you can always get a training provider... but if you don't like a training provider, it's hard (or impossible) to get out of a contract.
