Started a new job on Monday, im now on 3rd line support for BT, so far so good lol. So far they seem like a good group of people, only 8 for the UK, and ive already been asked to put a few guides together for them

My current company - big outsource supplier, will be central government contract.

Brakes seem to be on slightly at the mo as the role is 2 "bands" above where I'm currently, which causes an issue (for some reason) and also there is a bit of restructuring within the company - amalgamating one business unit (1500 people) into the rest - so I think both are causing it to be slow. I've got the nod from the 3rd line manager, so we're both just waiting for the rest of the company to catch up!

 

I presume there aren't just eight 3rd Line Engineers for the whole of BT? ahaha!

Why do you think the service is so bad? Should improve with Raf there to kick them into line.

 

Cool! I know how you feel regarding pay grades, mine has jumped considerably, but they stagger the pay increase in 5k amounts every 3 months! This only happens with internal positions though!
