Hey all,

Just thought I'd post the fact I've got a new job.

It's another Helpdesk/1st line job but a completely different role. The company is a data storage company, they basically have a bundle of servers and sell the space to other companies. The role will involve investigating any problems the clients have by checking the server status etc.

My current role is basically a help desk for a major bank and we deal with anything and everything from server issues (logged straight to the server teams e.g. wintel), application or hardware faults, passwords and account issues to air conditioning - that's right air conditioning - and lighting..

I'm hope that it all works out well and I'm really looking forward to the change that this job should bring - not to mention the extra cash, which will help with my current situation: girlfriend is pregnant and due 5th October and we're in the middle of buying a new house
