Hi all,

just thought I'd share my good news with you all. I've spent the last year doing security work and this and that, a few tools etc. I found that its not for me and that I was constantly trying to get my hands dirty.

I had my interview yesterday, felt I'd nailed it despite some curve ball q's about things like FSMO's and GPO's...... cut a long story short I am now a full time dedicated Wintel person

I've done this kind of work before but always as a jack of all trades type guy. I'll keep up my security studies but as a career it just didn't float my boat

No books ordered yet but great thinking sparkstick. I better get a move on with the 2008 upgrades as our place is banging out 2008 boxes at an alarming rate :S At least we've all moaned until UAC was canned ha

 

I tell ya what was odd, I asked when I'd hear and they said deffo not this week, and here I am, the next day :S

I know its for the full EA cert but it was worth the money and good for the geek book collection.
