First off I'd like to say Hi to everybody. I found you by doing a google on computeach......dum..dum..dum..dum!

Just to put you in the picture, I'm 25 and just floating along down life's river with no way of steering. I decided there are only 2 things that remotely interest me. 1) Golf. I've already done that. Turned pro at 18, spent a few years working in golf shops, are realised that I love playing golf, but hated living in small life sapping pro shops. So that brings me to 2) Computers. I have been around computers since the old school BBC's came out. You remember the ones, the red function keys across the top. Any how long story short, that is the other thing that grabs my attention. So I devided to invite computeach around and pretty much like Rob I had the guy come around, and either decided or got sold, not sure which one, the same course as Rob.

Now I don't thing of my self as a gullable guy, I have done other things with my life, so I've got alot of expeirience for my age, so I asked the question about testimonials.
I said that if they have such a good reputation etc, that I would like to actually speak to people that have been through the course, and find out what they thought. Justnormal things like what was course material like?, etc. I got fobbed off with we can't give customer details out, data protection act or something. So I said contact a few people and ask their permission. He can' do that.

So that was that. Any company who touts them selves as being as good as they are, and aren't prepared to offer testimonials weren't getting my money.

So I'm back to square one. Trying to find out where I can get the same sort of course content to move on in life.

Sorry about the length of post, you can probably tell that this has been waiting to get out of me, just been looking for the wright forum.

FYI. these are just my opinions based on my expeirience. I always say base your opinions on your own thoughts, don't let people put opinions or thoughts in your head.

Sorry I'm a little late on this one.

Welcome to the mad house christof, make yourself at home and enjoy the ride.

P.S. I work for The Labour Party's Technology Unit (I am not very political, it's just a job at the end of the day and I love it).

I'm just trying to get some quals, and see if I can get a job. It's the same old chestnut, " we're in need of expeirienced staff ", I need a job to get experience first you nugget:x

Welcome Christof. To answer your question, I'm a technical writer for a company that produces a small, all-in-one network device for home, small business customers, and ISPs. I also have just finished writing my first full-length book on an IT subject (I signed an NDA so I can't be specific just yet). Glad you found the place. Please make yourself at home and enjoy the facilities.
