    Hi, I'm getting ready to take the A+ exams this month.
    I'm also preparing for the Network+, and have the Meyers book (read half of it already).

    I'm wondering which would be the best 'other' material to complement Meyers'. I have a list:
    * CompTIA Network+ (N10-004) Cert Guide (Certification Guide) [Hardcover]
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/CompTIA-Net..._1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282491089&sr=1-1#noop

    * CompTIA Network+ Certification Study Guide: Exam N10-004: Exam N10-004 2E [Paperback]
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/CompTIA-Net...=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282491166&sr=1-1

    * MyITcertificationLabs: Security+ SYO-201 <this is about Network+, though>
    http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/book/9780789744760/MyITcertificationLabs

    Cheers. :D

    PS As I know someone will recommend getting practice exams, please provide detailed info on them (ie price, question pool size, etc.)

    Revising for the exam next week myself.

    Looked at the Meyers All in One, used the practice exams from the CD and read all through the Passport version, can recommend the following as well:

    Sybex Network+ Study Guide
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/CompTIA-Net...ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1282495805&sr=1-1-spell

    Doing my final polish up revision from this one, the chapter exams test more than you need for the actual exam which is great.

    Mmm...another one to consider...
    How good are the practice questions and the flashcards? Any idea on quantity?

    Per chapter there are 20 multi choice questions and 10 written questions where you need to supply the answers, 20 chapters in total. haven't used the flashcards.

    Well, I used the book by Lammle with a backup book of ExamCram and looked up a lot of stuff on Wikipedia (that helps a lot). As for practice exams, the uCertify N+ has 515 questions and PrepLogic has 300 questions. If you live in the states and buy the Meyers premium voucher you get 700 questions along with the discount test voucher. MeasureUp (which you can get with the ExamCram book as a package) has 258 questions. The Lammle book has 20 chapters and each chapter has 20 questions and two bonus tests of 50 questions each (on the CD that you can get with it). Also, each chapter has 10 written questions at the end to answer. Many of these have flashcards (Lammle CD has 150, and uCertify has 333). Transcender has flashcards and questions but I don't know how many since I didn't purchase that one. I find the uCertify gives you a lot of material to study in addition to the questions and cards. There are others, but these are all from legitimate companies.
