    Hi All,

I am hardly 1 yr into .net environment.Initially I was into Oracle development.

I was informed that 70-305, 70-315 etc were the exams required for certification in .net. Yesterday, a friend of mine took up 70-536... which was not in my list of exams at all.... She says I just need to take up 2 exams 70-536 and the other one, I am not sure of the number. On the contrary, what I was planning had around 4 to 5 exams....

I am confused. What is the difference between what she has taken up and what I am planning. It is my necessity at work to get a certification....meaning a complete set of certifications( cover all exams in that track) ...If so I would always prefer taking up 2 exams rather than 4,5 right.... say for example if in Oracle, I just need to take up 3 exams and I become OCP..... how is it in .net???

Where am I.... what am I doing..... Please give me a clear picture on these certifications....

    Thanks and Regards,
    Rinjin

No need to duplicate post. MCPD on .Net version 2.0/3.5 can be obtained in 3 exams on one of three tracks.

The main two tracks are Windows Developer and Web Developer, as usual check the Microsoft cert site for details.
