    :D HI guys,
I am new and have just joined today. :biggrin
I am an IT student and presently pursuing for the final year of our degree. Will any one just advice me that if I want to take a MCSE certification which exam should I start first?
    Should I go for 70-270 or 70-290?
Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

The majority of people start with the client exam (270) and then move on from there.

Depending on your experience this may be a good place to start.

i was also wondering, is it necessary to do network + before mcp, because i am thinking of doing CompTIA A+ and then MCP, rather than A+ -> Network + and then MCP.

No, it's not necessary, but is a commonly recommended path to take. :biggrin

thanx for everyonez advice guyz, I'll most probably use; MCSA/MCSE Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-270): Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Second Edition as my main book and exam cram for revision work, hope it helps me get my mcp and later a job :blink
