    Hello forum,

I have a telephone interview tomorrow for a job in a NOC center supporting Cisco kit remotely. Ive had experiance supporting users mostly locally and a few time remotely but no NOC background. Is there anyone who has gone for one of these positions or who are currently working in a noc center that can give me any advice for the interview?

Have you supported Cisco kit before? Do you know how to connect to it remotely? If so, that's a good start. All a NOC is is a Network Operations Center... just gotta keep everything connected, whether that be your internal sites or your customer's sites.

Yeah, I suppose it all the same really, in one sense or another. I dont know how much more difficult it would be diagnosing and fault finding a network that you cant see over one in which you have a physical and logical topology diagram at hand. I would guess that the NOC center has this info somewhere on its systems. Anyway off to memorize the mission statement, annual turnover ect. Later
