Far too many messers ! Play hardball man, for each chick on the internt they have 100+ guys chasing them, they don't need to be genuine, most of them just do it cos they're bored, you're their virtual 'friend' in a jar, they never intend to meet anyone off the net, which to be honest given todays society, I can understand why...

Also don't forget 'dating' is now an industry too, these sites make $$$, so do bars and clubs, ever think maybe they want you single ?

Still only takes one good one, or a whole load of average ones....

Dating maybe an industry now...but i am happily single dont intend on being messed about by such women anymore...

 

I met my wife on Match.com back in '99. Couldn't be happier.

 

I met my girlfriend on an online chat room 4 years ago... and she still cant get rid of me!!

I've got to say i also have a few friends that i met from the same chat room. And i treat a couple of them as really close friends, we meet and spend weekends with each other, having a few drinks and lots of laughs. So it can be great Online dating.

On the flip side i also know of many who used the Online dating as a cheap escort / brothel service. They meet, get it on, then leave with no more contact. Then there are those who have online stalkers!!

Like all things in life, theres a good side and a bad side. For me, there was a great good side, i havent been happier in years (apart from the lack of cash, diy disaters, usual run of bad luck, crap job etc etc)
