    Helloo people,

I have been a member for some time now but never introduced myself so that is what i'm doing now!

After reading all the good advice in these forums I have been out and just gained myself A+ and N+ certifications, yey me! :D

However, now that I am actually certified as some kind of IT fella and am trying to gain employment in the field, I realise that this is a very steep uphill struggle with no sign of actual employment on the horizon.

So here goes with a question propbably asked a million times before.........

Where do I go from here?????????

I do not have the time to further self study (money all gone)
I cannot pay for a quick fix training company (money all gone)
I do have MCDST training kits for both exams but no time to study until employed!

    Anyone wanna gimme a job?

Thanks in advance for any useful information :)

    Hey Jayatk9,

All I can say is keep looking and dont give up. Try doing an intership or something to gain experience. I know its hard finding a job in IT when you dont have experience, I've been there too.

Well, First, the MCDST is a good follow up for A+ and N+ and it is a good start for MCSA and MCSE later on.
Try to find some time to study the two books. Just take one hour a week if you can not aford more. Work your way thru the books an get your exams. The cost will only be some time and the exam fee.

    Good luck!

    Excellent advice......

Don't forget to update your CV with what you are currently studying.

    Also 1/2 a MCSDT i.e. 70-271 = MCP title on your CV

Try looking here for a job
