    Hi All

Having be about since almost day one this is my 999th posting. I've been a bit tied up with my Open University degree and am about to get even more tied up as start level 3 courses in Feb and have thoughts of a Masters oh and I want to learn the fiddle; violin for all th posh people out there.

I've come far since starting on my Certs road. I've spent my working life sorting out other people's mess due to the fact that they thought they could do IT but a little knowledge does a huge amount of harm. I started being very "anti" cert but having done them really understand why with them AND practical experance they are worth their weight in Gold.

For all of you starting on your road to a cert work hard for they are not easy.

I take it you want to learn the fiddle so that you can play some diddle dee celtic jigs rather than master flight of the bumblebee?

    Hi Pete

Very much so - we have been spending a lot of time in the Breton part of France, my wife is a fluent French speaker, and have found that the music is based on the same Celtic tunes that I know from a Scottish backround.
