    Hi Guys

    It's been too long.

got a question for you. I am currently contracting in a school and i have been ask if it is possible to prevent the students from logging onto more than 1 PC at a time, however they also want to restrict teachers to only be able to log on to 2 PC's at anyone time.

Is this possible in AD/Group Policy, I seem to remember something about this from along time ago just need it clarifying.

    Cheers

    Derek

    Why hello there! :)

LimitLogin from Microsoft will limit the amount of concurrent logins to a domain. You can find info on it and a download link here.

A technet article is here too if you require it.

    Hope this helps :)

You can also use cconnect (sic). We use it at work, it does exactly what it says on the tin. click

Hmm... we must have been using something like CConnect to modify Group Policy, cause I know it was in the last domain I administered. :)

Thanks for all the help guys, apparently we cant use Limit logon as it messes up when uses logon from home..... dont know how, that's just what the big wigs tell me. I'm looking into the suggestion from Mr Cheeks, look like it might do the job nicely.

    Thanks again
