msn will not connect

Ok this is odd, i have 20 odd users, about half of them can connect happily to msn the rest cannot. Normally i would think its the users accounts of pc's however on some days everyone can connect. msn self test can see all the way through to the msn server and reckons it is completely setup fine.

I have gone through all the settings in msn and as far as i can see it has no problems, has anyone come across this sort of issue in the past?

bit of a long shot but can your access secure sites on the affected pc?

 

when you say secure, do you mean things like web based email? or are you talking banking type websites.

 

anything with https://
