    Aloha,
I am trying to install MS Office 2000 on an XP pro system. During installation I get up a box asking me to insert the XP pro disk as windows requires files. I insert the disk and then I get an error saying windows unable to update security files and the installation stops. I then get error 1933 ? Both disks install fine on other systems? anyone have any advice?
Thanks in advance for any input.

Much as I hate to ask, m8 - are the disks your using, erm, "legitimate" ? As I have known of cases where "iffy" copies of disks have had this problem, due to blacklisted serials.

Just a thought, may be wrong ...[IMG]
