    Hi All,

Looking on the Microsoft Press website it says there is second edition books out for 70-271 and 70-272 but I cant seem to see these on amazon.co.uk unless I am not looking properly.

Anyone else find these at all? :)

    Thanks

(I have heard the MS Press books are the books to go for when studying with books).

    Here they are:

    70-271
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0735622272/qid=1145011287/026-1628725-1911643

    70-272
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0735622213/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2_cp/026-1628725-1911643

If you click on the picture of the book cover it will bring up a larger version and you can see clearly where it says Second Edition in the upper right.

Of course all their second edition books have a big 2 in the upper right corner as well. Microsoft is not always the best for Microsoft exams but for the MCDST exams there is not a whole lot out there as of yet.

For the MCDST there's definitely no better books available. I've thumbed through a few of them and they don't go into enough depth. The combined 70-271/70-272 Sybex book was bloody joke, so I'd steer clear of that.

I figured that the Sybex book is good for a quick review before the exam but for a serious study material it would have to be the Microsoft Press books as well as various Technet material as well since none of the books cover everything that will be on the exam.
