Anyone used these before? I was thinking of buying one(for the 685), but I wanted to see if other people had found them particularly useful. I very rarely see them getting mentioned as part of someone's exam prep.

Not sure how much they cost but actually my go to things these days are either PluralSight or CBTNuggets with the odd course from LinuxAcademy as well, at a loss for training material I would also have a look on YouTube as well as that can offer some decent video training material as well.

Books wise I tend to stick to Packt or the occasional specialisation book recommended by the community.

In your shoes I would see if MS are still doing the MVA and if they have any courses on that subject.

 

Cheers Simon. Just got that 6 months free pluralsight trial. Unfortunately that and MVA don't have videos for the 685. I'm not really into using videos for learning. I don't generally feel like they go deep enough into the subject matter. I've never heard of packt. I'll have a look into that now. D'you feel that the labbing parts of pluralsight videos are enough? I feel like I need a bit of structure and guidelines for going deep into every feature that I need to know for the exam, whereas videos just tend to give a brief overview.
